Situated in the heart of West Yorkshire, the British glass factory, Stoelzle Flaconnage was set up as J.W. Bagley and Co in 1871 and became part of the Stoelzle Glass Group in 1994. Over the past few years major investments turned the British factory into a state-of-the-art manufacturer.
In 2016 comprehensive investments included a new state-of-the-art flint glass furnace as well as modern Cold End inspection facilities and decoration technology (high speed spraying line, automated printing machine and accessory application). Substantial improvements in the plants media supply (water, energy, compressed air) have been realized in order to ensure highly energy efficiency and an environmental friendly operation.
Stoelzle Flaconnage has now definitely become Stoelzle’s new centre of excellence with regards to the development, production and decoration of Premium Spirit Bottles; with the capability to produce articles from 5cl up to 4,5l in cosmetic flint or feeder colouration. Due to utmost flexibility, the site is able to manufacture small batches for limited editions of luxury brands, too.
The furnace provides 175 tons of extra-white flint glass per day which results in a production of 100 million glass containers per annum.
