Recycling saves Resources

Recycling waste helps to save resources and demonstrates responsible behaviour towards protecting the climate. STO participates in the German Recycling system “Grüner Punkt” and contributes significantly towards reducing the use of primary raw materials and energy in the manufacture of new products. This is a substantial contribution to the protection of the climate.

In 2008, the recycling of packaging material used solely for STO Tableware products saved the equivalent of 738kg CO2.

This is equal to the CO2 produced by a VW Golf driving 4.955 kilometres.
