Stölzle Glass Group apologise for their withdrawal from this week's Packaging Innovations exhibition in Birmingham. This decision is due to the necessity to concentrate on two key strategic projects.

The first project is the development of their new Polish factory. A decision taken to install a second furnace resulted in a complete rebuilding of the Stölzle–Częstochowa factory, which now incorporates the latest technology in both the glass production and decoration facilities. This development is in addition to the new factory developed at Stölzle-Union in the Czech Republic, opened last October, and the upgrading of the UK Stölzle Flaconnage factory, which was launched in July.

Alongside commissioning the new factory, Stölzle have been installing a new ERP system, regulating production and administration to ensure all client needs are met.

Both these key projects have required a commitment on the part of all Stölzle employees that meant representing the Group adequately at Packaging Innovations was not possible. With the greatest regret, therefore, Stölzle withdrew.
