With regards to product quality, one of our most challenging tasks is the production of packaging materials for the pharmaceutical industry.

For decades we have been primarily manufacturing packaging materials such as drip, syrup and medicine bottles, pill containers, wide-necked and powder jars. Our manufacturing bases in Köflach in the Steiermark region, Hermanova Hut in the Czech Republik and Czestochowa in Poland are connected via central quality control and production planning. The bases also act as alternative production locations with back-up function at the same high level of quality. In this regard Stölzle-Oberglas stands out as a top player amongst European pharmaceutical glass manufacturers.

In addition to the usual ISO-certification, our production in Köflach/Austria is the only factory in Europe which adheres to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.

Our other product divisions also profit from our production experience in pharmaceuticals: in terms of purity and consistent product quality we allow as little compromise in manufacturing glass for the cosmetic or food industries as we do for the pharmaceutical industry.
