Factory Decorations
The so-called factory decorations are created during production in the glassworks which means that the entire decoration is formed in the workshop at the same time as the hot glass itself. Decorative elements are placed onto the hot glass and molten together with the glass article in the furnace. This requires great skill on behalf of the glass maker. Many different procedures are necessary to create glass as shown in the illustration below.
