Air

Of all things, it is the most amorphous of the four elements – air – which helps us to bring glass into the required form. Using “blow and blow”, “suck and blow” or “press and blow” processes, streams of air shape the drops of molten glass – “gobs” - and force them into predetermined shapes.

 

In addition, regulated air streams in our cooling systems ensure the frictionless functioning of our production equipment.

 

The goal: glass which is almost as light and transparent as air…
